As a Dietary Server you will be responsible to assist in the preparation and serving of meals to the residents and guests including catering services, while consistently maintaining the relevant health, hygiene, and safety standards.  You can enjoy growing your career and be a part of a dedicated team that positively impacts the lives of the residents. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Prepare meals for serving it to residents according to their individual diet menus/preferences and ensure resident satisfaction with meal service. 

  • Respond to resident or family member concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken within decision-making authority and/or brings it to the attention of the Manager. 

  • Perform the set-up, serving and tear down services at booked catering events.

What You Will Need:

  • Secondary school education or equivalent.  

  • Experience in a volume food preparation environment in a retirement residence, long term care residence or hospitality industry. 

  • Food Safe Level 1 and Smart Serve Certificate is preferred. 

  • First Aid Certificate is preferred. 


Candidates must be available to work Days, Evenings and Weekends.
