Job Overview / Purpose

  • We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET developer on a six-month contract with the possibility of an extension to oversee the development of functional .NET applications and websites.
  • You will be directly involved with .NET application coding, system debugging, code reviewing, and the development of operational procedures.
  • In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator.
  • Your goal will be to work with internal teams to develop and maintain software.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing technical specifications.
  • Writing scalable code for .NET software applications.
  • Reviewing and debugging .NET applications.
  • Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
  • Drafting software and application operating procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Previous experience as a .NET developer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design and development in C#.
  • Minimum five years of progressive experience developing software using ASP.NET, .NET, C#, SQL Server Design database schema, develop stored procedures and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
  • Experience performing unit testing and troubleshooting applications built on ASP.NET, .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge and experience with JavaScript MVC or MVVM frameworks such as AngularJS or KnockoutJS, respectively.
  • Prior experience in working on a Content Management System (preferably Sitecore / DNN).
  • Experience configuring and maintaining nightly builds for .Net framework 4.8 or above.
  • Experience with Web Services or WCF.

NICE TO HAVE

  • A good working knowledge of test management software and QA methodologies.
  • Able to create and execute test cases using Selenium WebDriver and IDE.
  • To identify and select test cases for automation
  • To fix errors and debug the test cases.
